2/1 Bidding System
The main features of this system are a variable NT range ( depending on seat and vulnerability ), a strong distributional 2 Diamond bid and several Losing Trick Count bidding agreements mainly for team games.

Opening 1 of a minor:
  with 3-3 open 1 club
  with 4-4 open 1 diamond
always consider the potential rebid problems with a more distributional minor suit hand.
1 of a minor shows and 11+ -19 point hand with no 5 card major ( unless strongly distributional ).

 Minor suit raises are inverted:
       1m - 2m shows 10+ pts  and no 4 card major.
       1m - 3m shows less than 10 pts and 5 card support

( minor suits generic unless otherwise noted )

1m - 1M ( 4+ card major and 6+ pts )  Forcing
1C  -  1D  ( 4+ card diamond suit, no 4 card major, unless further bidding indicates one )  Forcing
1m  - 1N  ( no 4 card major 6-9 points ) non-Forcing
1C - 2C or 1D - 2D ( inverted raise, 10+ points, no 4 card major ) Forcing
1C - 2D/2H/2N
or
1D - 2H/2S/3C  ( weak jump shift, 6+ cards in suit, 0-5 points ) Non-Forcing
1D - 2C  ( 2/1 raise, game forcing with 5 clubs, may have a 4 card major ) Game Forcing
1m - 2N  ( 10 - 12 points, balanced, no 4 card major ) Non-Forcing
1C - 3D/3H/3S
or
1D - 3H/3S/4C  ( splinter raise, no 4 card major, 13 -16 HCP, and a singleton/void in bid suit ) Forcing
1m - 3NT ( 13 - 15 points, balanced, no 4 card major ) Non-Forcing
1C - 4C
or
1D - 4D  ( minorwood, RKC in the suit, Slam try )  Game Forcing

or
1D - 4H/4S/5C  ( Exclusion Keycard Blackwood in minor suit with a void in suit bid )
